Craft Club Workshop: Potato Printmaking

Do you love all forms of potatoes, even inedible ones? Is your favorite potato already one carved into a weird shape and covered in ink?
Come to Craft Club and learn basic printmaking skills! At this edition of Craft Club, we will be carving potatoes into stamps to make repeat prints on postcards. Everyone will create their own custom set of designs to trade, gift, frame, or send.
Printmaking supplies, potatoes, and potato themed snacks will be provided. In place of asking you to grocery shop for potatoes or bring a bottle of wine, an optional $8 to cover art supplies would be appreciated if you feel comfortable and want to contribute.

Want to do art, but not alone on your couch again? Want to do art, but keep procrastinating actually doing it? Want helpful feedback on your art, but feel too awkward to ask? Want room to improve what you’re working on, and a group to support you as you grow?
Make time, make art, make friends, and make your work better at Craft Club! Bring a project in progress (drawing, painting, knitting, sewing, writing, etc.) and pack your favorite shareable drink or snack for an afternoon of constructive critique and compliments.
Drawing supplies will be provided if you don’t have a project you’re already working on, or if you just want to doodle.

Another birthday means another excuse to make you all do another craft of my choosing (RIP last year’s terrariums), so come celebrate a few decades of me being alive and the one year anniversary of me living in the city with an afternoon of snacking, jewelry making, and cake at my place!
Bring your favorite drink to share, and I’ll provide the snacks as well as the supplies.
